Annotation	This project draws on need of improvement of leisure time centers (LTCs) aimed at children and youth, marginal groups and risk groups. An objective of the project is to analyze a functionning of the (LTCs) for children and youth with a focus on their preparedness, knowledge of specific work aspects related to the care of specific social groups (such as disabled, socially handicapped, gifted, minor ethnic groups and unemployed). The research aimed at personal, financial and material aspects of LTC´s preparedness as well as at their cooperation with other similar organizations abroad (Germany, France, Slovakia. The representative research in leisure time centers for children and youth was carried out at the base of preliminary findings of the pilot survey. Another inquiry – both qualitarive and quantitative – was carried out among representatives of the . The research focused primarily on following social groups: socially handicapped (children and youth from socially weak or dysfunctional families), disabled, unemployed, minorities (Romany people, foreigners, refugees children) and gifted children. The research report also includes recommendations based on the results of the research.
