A year after – impacts of the „common education“ report

Organisation Nadace OSF
Year 2018
Research type purpose-built publication
Annotation Before the end of the school year, 2016/2017 representative investigation was made with the aim to map out the introduction of changes to support the education of pupils with special educational needs which is in force from September 2016 and is referred to as the common education. Although it still takes the so-called transitional period, where there is an overlapping of the original and the new legislation, the aim of the investigation was to determine how the incoming changes are perceived by directors and teachers of primary schools and how to evaluate the overall experience with the provision of support measures for students who need them. The current report brings the findings of changes in schools and classes from the perspective of Directors and teachers, shows what the new legislation has benefited and where barriers persist in the successful education of pupils with special educational needs.
