Annotation	Thesis focuses on obesity in preschool children. Theoretical part includes primarily general issue of overweight and obesity. In this part, factors that are responsible for overweight and obesity and also health problems connected with overweight and obesity are described. Furthermore, prevention of obesity in preschool children is explained, including healthy lifestyle, nutrition and exercise. On bases of questionnaires and observations, specifics of behaviour of obese and overweight children in a kindergarten environment are explained in the practical part. Recommendations based on the outcomes of the research are suggested in the conclusion of the thesis.
