Annotation	This thesis is focused on the possibility to prevent injuries by means of enlistment the set subject into education in primary school. Theoretical part deals with problems of injuries using different points of view. It presents necessary information of the set subject and certain particularity related to it. It describes injuries typical for certain periods of development together with their characterization. Further it deals with injury prevention, above all in school surroundings. Last but not least, it solves the method of its’ integration into primary school education. Practical part is composed of methodical proposal for younger school age children injury prevention with reference to the subject of education stated in RVP ZV and the file of subject matters for activities practicable to be put into classes from the first to the fifth grade which are related to the subject of injury prevention.
