Annotation	The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of smoking in children. In the theoretical part, the author deals with basic information relating to smoking, the related addiction and mental, and of course also describes the prevention and treatment of addiction. Practical work is extensively devoted to the analysis of surveys. Research is aimed at pupils of primary school - pupils of sixth and seventh grades in the Hradec Králové region. The research subject was mainly to determine why primary school children start smoking that plays a role, whether they reside in the city or in the country, whether they smoke more boys or girls, the effect on smoking among children family and friends, and what is the information about the children issues.
