| Annotation | The final report contains the analysis of existing legal regulations concerning the problem of work with children and youth. The report highlights shortcomings and mentions proposals for amendement of legal regulations by taking into account actual needs arising from the work experience with children and youth. The final report is divided into seven independent thematic chapters. The first chapter is aimed at the problems of volunteering and foster care. The second chapter called „the multiculturality“ deals with responsability of children and youth for manifestation of rasism and xenophobia and with legal regulations concerning the integration of foreigners in the Czech republic. The third chapter pursues the integration of handicaped children and youth into non-formal education. The fourth chapter is aimed at the problem of awareness and participation of children and youth in public life. The fifth chapter called „leisure time activities“ treats of legal regulations of organisations aimed at children and youth. This chapter is also concerned with legal status of an employee working with children and youth in spare time and problems of responsability for the under age given to keep during the period when leisure time activities are held. The sixth chapter is aimed at a support of talented children and youth. Last chapter focuses on further training of pedagogical and non-pedagogical workers. |
