Annotation |
The present thesis deals with the development of professional competencies of children and adolescents in institutional care in the context of preparation for living their lives independently. This phase of the educationally-therapeutic process has not been sufficiently mapped yet and therefore should be addressed both in terms of research and legislative and methodological support extending into the practice of pedagogical workers. The theoretical part of the thesis presents a comprehensive theoretical and empirical analysis of children and young adults placed in residential care facilities from the perspective of multiple disciplines (especially in the field of pedagogy, particularly special education- special education of children with behavioural disorders and social pedagogy, psychology, particularly the personality psychology, developmental and social psychology and psychotherapy, social work and sociology) |
