Annotation	The study maps the state of financial support for families with children in the Czech Republic and other 16 European countries in 2004. Using an analysis of the tax and benefit system, it identifies how the Czech Republic is in comparison with other European countries in the area of financial support for households with children countries and which of these countries is currently the most similar in its concept of such support.
