Career decision-making of Czech students in emerging adulthood

Annotation The study discusses the issue of career development of Czech students in the period of emerging adulthood. It also deals with the analysis of factors resulting from the type of study that can contribute to facilitation of the career decision making process. The research goal of the study was to find out what role the type of study and work experience plays in the career decision-making process of Czech students. Questionnaires focused on professional identity and career decision-making were administered to 194 university students and 116 secondary school students aged 18 to 21 years. The results of the study highlight the role of work experience in the career decision making process.
