Annotation | The main theme of this work is the influence of parental education on children's education by place of residence, in particular the status and educational reproduction from generation to generation, and it differs according to the size of the place of residence. The theoretical part describes the basic information about the family, its influence, that passed between generations as well as educational reproduction and educational mobility. There are also chapters devoted to the education system, its impact on educational stratification or attitudes and approaches to education in the country and the importance of the place of residence chapter on educational attainment. In the practical part, the author worked with secondary data, which were collected using standardized interviews with selected respondents. The aim was to clarify the intergenerational reproduction of acquired education of the individual, and the changing educational mobility. |
