Readers and reading in the Czech Republic

Annotation The research project, which was focused in detail on the book market, were interviewed 1,584 respondents were standardized face to face interviews aimed at finding what we read, how many books we buy, if we go to the public library, which is our favorite authors and books as often we read. From the results it was evident that a large part of the population reads at least one book a year, that age is no barrier that women read more than men. In relation to the book market research brought the following findings: More than half of the Czech population aged over 15 say it is confusing for them. It was also shown that the Czech Republic remains among the European countries with the strongest reading culture.
