Annotation	This thesis deals with the issues of probation supervision for juvenile delinquents. The aim of this thesis is to describe and analyze juvenile delinquency and the possibilities of probation supervision for juveniles as a form of measure in the current legislation. Theoretical part is focused on social and economic transformations that have occurred in the last quarter of the century, and which had an impact on penal policy . It also deals with alternative sanctions for juveniles in connection with restorative justice. It also mentions about the activities of the Probation and Mediation Service of the Czech Republic as an important institution in the system of criminal justice. The last chapter is focused on the troubled juvenile - it deals with the factors underlying the offending behaviour, the specific manifestations of their infringement and, finally, the probation supervision. The empirical part of the thesis is devoted to the possibilities of probation supervision for the juvenile, to the specifics in the work with juveniles.
